We are situated close to the D137, 4½ km from the Cressanges exit on the N79 RCEA expressway. Located 4 km from Cressanges, 7 km from Souvigny, 20 km from Moulins, 23 km from the A77/N7 autoroute, 25 km from Saint Pourçain sur Sioule, 27 km from Montmarault (exit of the A71 autoroute), 52 km from Vichy, 55 km from Magny-Cours, 100 km from Clermont-Ferrand and 217 km from both Limoges Airport and Lyon Airport.

By ROAD

From the N79 RCEA expressway : Take exit Cressanges D18. From Cressanges village follow direction Moulins and take the D137 (Rue de Souvigny). Follow this road approximately 3 km just over a small green metal bridge and turn left. This road is signed La Pte Chaume, La Gde Chaume and La Chapelle Giraudet. Continue to the farm La Petite Chaume and turn left at the crossroad (signed LA GRANDE CHAUME). After 500 meters you will find our bed and breakfast on your left.

From Moulins sur Allier center : Cross the bridge over the river Allier. Follow direction D945 (Montluçon, Clermont-Ferrand, A71, Bourbon L'Archambault, Souvigny). Turn left after about 1,5 km signed Cressanges/Bressoles D137. Drive through two forests. Take right on to the D34, then immediately take the first left, direction D137 to Cressanges. Continue for 7 km. Turn right signed La Chapelle Giraudet, just before a small green metal bridge. The opposite signs will read La Pte Chaume, La Gde Chaume and La Chapelle Giraudet. Continue to the farm La Petite Chaume and turn left at the crossroad (signed LA GRANDE CHAUME). After 500 meters you will find our BnB on your left.

By TRAIN

The nearest railway station is Moulins sur Allier (mainline Paris Gare de Bercy - Clermont-Ferrand). You are able to catch the Eurostar from London Waterloo to Paris Gare du Nord, travel by metro/bus/taxi to Gare de Bercy and take the straight through train to Moulins sur Allier. Car hire is available at the station.

By PLANE

The nearest airport is Clermont-Ferrand, however no budget airlines operate there. The next nearest regional airports are both Limoges and Lyon, a little over 200 km, both operated by Ryanair.

Paris airport Charles de Gaulle is operated by easyJet and other airlines. There are connections by shuttle bus and/or metro to railway station Gare de Bercy and from there you can take the straight through train to Moulins sur Allier.

Car hire is available at all airports and train stations, if booked with the flight, usually there is a discount available. It is more expensive to hire when you arrive and you may be asked for an expensive deposit charge !
